This Privacy Policy explains what data BKMS (Brick Kiln Management System, operated by Ittefaq Bricks Company) collects, why, and how it's handled — across the web application, the offline desktop application, and our public site.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email, phone, role, company affiliation |
| Company Data you enter | Production, labour, sales, purchasing, and finance records entered into the Service |
| Login & security events | Login/logout timestamps, IP address, user agent, failed login attempts (used for the account-lockout protection described below) |
| License & device data | Hardware fingerprint hash and license status for each desktop installation |
| Contact & demo requests | Name, email, phone, and message content submitted through our Contact or Request a Demo forms |
We use this information to: provide and maintain the Service; authenticate users and enforce access control; detect and block abusive login activity; issue, validate, and support desktop licenses; respond to support, sales, and demo requests; and improve the Service based on how it's actually used. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use Company Data for advertising.
The desktop application stores its own local database on the device it's installed on, so it keeps working without an internet connection. When connectivity is available, data syncs with the central service. Because each desktop install is licensed to specific hardware, the company operating that install is responsible for the physical security of the device.
We do not share personal data or Company Data with third parties except: service providers who help us operate the Service under confidentiality obligations (e.g. hosting infrastructure); when required by law, court order, or governmental request; or with your explicit consent. We do not sell personal information.
Account and Company Data is retained for as long as the account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Security event logs (such as login and failed-login records) are retained only as long as needed for the security purpose they serve.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including per-installation license binding, audit logging of record changes, and automatic blocking of an IP address after repeated failed login attempts, reviewable and reversible by an administrator. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage strong, unique passwords for every account.
Depending on your role and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate need to retain records required for accounting, audit, or legal compliance. Requests can be made through our Contact page.
The Service is intended for business use by adults acting on behalf of a company and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means, with the "last updated" date above reflecting the latest revision.
